Canadian Tire Revs Up Racing!

The Championships will be broadcast live in their entirety on the Internet

Mont Tremblant, Québec – August 12, 2010

ASN Canada FIA and Le Circuit Karting are excited to announce that the entire program of track activity will be live-streamed over the internet.

Bill Wright of Florida Winter Tour fame is bringing his production and technical team, and video broadcasting technology to Le Circuit at Mont Tremblant.  The broadcast will be available at a special Canadian Karting Championships link at www.floridawintertour.com.

“Commencing for practice on Friday, August 20 and continuing through qualifying, prefinals and the final races on Sunday, August 22, the world will be able to watch the program from start to finish including the podium presentation of the Canadian champions and the presentation of Rotax Team Canada members who will go to Italy in November to the Rotax World Finals”, said Paul Cooke, Director of Karting for ASN Canada FIA.

Bill Wright commented, “We are honoured to have been invited to the world famous  Le Circuit facility and the new international class kart track.  Canada has been a strong supporter of the Florida Winter Tour, and the chance for me and my team to give back to Canada is a privilege”.

For Chantal Bourgeois, General Manager of Le Circuit Karting, this announcement is important. “From the beginning, we planned to prepare the best event possible for the competitors and karting fans. The live streaming broadcast of the event over the internet was the only element missing to reach our goals. Bill Wright and his team are, up to now, the best in the sport of karting for webcasting and we could not get a better partnership”.

Les Championnats Canadiens de karting seront diffusés en entier sur internet

Mont-Tremblant, Québec – Le 12 août 2010.

ASN Canada FIA et Le Circuit Karting sont fiers d’annoncer que le programme entier des Championnats Canadiens de karting 2010 seront diffusé en direct via internet.

Bill Wright de la célèbre série américaine Florida Winter Tour sera sur place au Circuit du Mont-Tremblant avec son équipe technique et le matériel nécessaire.  Une page spécialement dédiée aux Championnats Canadiens de Karting sera disponible sur le site www.floridawintertour.com.

« Dès les essais chronométrés du vendredi matin 20 août et jusqu’aux finales du dimanche après-midi 22 août, le monde entier sera en mesure de voir le programme complet de l’événement, incluant les cérémonies de podium où seront couronnés les nouveaux champions canadiens de chacune des catégories ainsi que la présentation des membres de l’équipe canadienne de karting qui participera à la finale mondiale du Challenge Rotax Max en Italie en novembre prochain », de dire Paul Cooke, directeur du Karting pour ASN Canada FIA.

Bill Wright est heureux d’apporter son aide à l’événement. « Mon équipe et moi sommes honorés d’avoir été invités au renommé Circuit de course du Mont-Tremblant et nous avons très hâtes de voir leur nouvelle piste de karting de classe mondiale.  Les pilotes de karting canadiens ont toujours été nombreux à supporter la série Florida Winter Tour et nous sommes heureux d’avoir la chance de les supporter à notre tour. »
